JULIE GERSCH, PH.D. – VICE PRESIDENT OF ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Dr. Julie Gersch completed her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at The University of Akron, Ohio. She completed her predoctoral internship in St. Paul, Minnesota in the Career and Counseling Center at the University of St. Thomas. Her dissertation was funded by a grant awarded by the National Career Development Association. Julie completed her geropsychology postdoctoral fellowship with Vericare in Dallas Ft. Worth, Texas. She currently serves as Vice President, Organizational Development at Cotler Healthcare in Florida. For over 15 years, Julie has overseen clinical and business operations in both a large/national healthcare company and a small boutique firm, leading diverse behavioral health professionals (psychologists, clinical social workers, psychiatrists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners) including hiring, training, and performance coaching. Throughout her career, Julie has had the opportunity to engage in relationship-based business development, forming strong collaborative working alliances with practitioners, partner communities, and referring physicians and staff. In her role at Cotler Healthcare, Julie remains passionate about developing strategic initiatives for improving the quality of delivered care while growing the business through goal-driven outcome-based servant leadership.
KERRY M. COTLER, PH.D. – PRESIDENT
Dr. Kerry Cotler received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She completed her internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Medical Center specializing in the neuropsychological assessment and treatment of the elderly. Dr. Cotler founded Cotler Healthcare and Development, Inc (CHCD) over 20 years ago. Her goal was to establish a team of professionals to provide consistent, quality assessment and counseling services to the geriatric population.
Dr. Cotler is responsible for new business development as well as maintaining relationships with Executive Directors, Administrators, Medical Directors, Nursing Directors, and Staff Social Workers in over 150 long term care communities throughout the state of Florida.

During the COVID-19 public health emergency, Cotler clinicians are our most valuable resource. Given the substantial community transmission occurring in south Florida, we have optimized full practice use of telehealth services for care delivery at the current time. When services are re-introduced via in person sessions in our two outpatient counseling centers, proper use of PPE by customers and staff will be in place, along with heightened cleaning practices, to protect our team, our clients, and the community at large.
